Hi there!
My name is Jolie and I am a graphic designer interested in technology and interactivity in design! I am in my fourth year at the University of Florida pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design. I currently work at the College of Design, Construction and Planning (DCP) as a Graphic Design Student Assistant developing social media graphics, event posters and banners, and magazines..
I am interested in interactive design and I love typography, branding, and game design. My process involves a combination between traditional and digital mediums utilizing technology and manufacturing techniques to develop comprehensive and intentional design solutions. I enjoy exploring and trying modern software and machinery including both 2D and 3D design programs, 3D printers, and laser cutters to bring my designs to life.
When I am not designing, you can find me playing board games and video games, spending time with my cats, or sipping on a vanilla matcha latte.
At the University of Florida, I have had the wonderful opportunity to work with a close-knit group of students as part of a graphic design cohort. Being part of a small and diverse group of design students has allowed me to expand my skills in a collaborative and dynamic environment dedicated to sharing knowledge and creating community.
